AlterCrit is a free, monthly, multidisciplinary group critique hosted by AlterWork Studios. Open to members and non-members, artists may submit a collection of images of a work in progress, or a portfolio to review, in any medium.
AlterCrit is a safe space to talk about work, ask questions, brainstorm, grow and receive constructive feedback, suggestions on how to improve, change, push boundaries, etc., as well as a place to meet other artists and network.

AlterWork Studio’s curatorial team will choose 1-2 artists to present their work and receive critique. AlterCrit takes place on the first Monday of every month (unless noted otherwise). Return to this page for more information on the presenting artists once they are selected.
Open Call to Receive Critique
Submissions should be sent to tina@alterworkstudios.com. Submissions should include:
a short introduction about yourself/your practice (500 words max),
Instagram handle and/or website,
two or three questions you’d like to discuss about your work, and
a Google Slides, PowerPoint, or PDF file with 5-10 images, on a plain background (for photography series, up to 15 images). If you work in video or audio, please include instead a URL where we can see/hear your work (please do not send video or audio files in your email). Include title, medium, date, and dimensions in your submission.
