“Time-In: A Visual Journal” explores the paradoxes of this uncharted emotional and physical space and time. Isolation/togetherness, confinement of interior spaces/expansiveness of nature and the outdoors; a sense of timelessness, yet enhanced repetition and ritual; introversion and connection…

With more “time-in”, the interior and exterior worlds begin to merge, the imagination expands, the internal landscape deepens. Quarantine “dreams”; visions of the real and surreal abound in this visual document of a period of isolation and incubation. Carla E. Reyes combines photographic work with found imagery and mixed-media collage, in book art form; to create a unique visual narrative of fantasy and reality in a strange and unparalleled time.
