Re:Claimed is a forthcoming exhibition of mixed media paintings by multidisciplinary artist Daniel Cordani. The title of the show refers to the usage of reclaimed materials including scrap wood, discarded stretched canvases and used drop cloth canvases. The bold, abstract paintings vary in execution and materiality, ranging from premeditated color fields to  monotone sculptural reliefs. The opening will be on Fri February 24 from 5-9 and the show will be open until Thurs March 16th

DANIEL CORDANI received his Masters in Art Education from Brooklyn College and Bachelors in Psychology from University of Delaware. Through his multidisciplinary approach he has exhibited for over 20 years, facilitated art workshops, donated paintings to hospitals, and designed work for music labels. He has recently published an art/poetry book with author Robert Booras entitled “The Infected Nucleus” for the Brooklyn-based label Upset Press.
